Communal lounge/ TV room in Bathen House Boutique Hotel
It's an amazing place. Fran greeted us at reception. It was my husbands Birthday. They arranged petals and balloons 🎈 on the bed. Fran actually enjoys her job and it was an absolute pleasure to meet her. I ordered wine in room on arrival. That had been arranged. All sorts of biscuits / sweets and teas 🍵 were complimentary. We asked for a 5.30 dinner. Order taken and served by a very lovely lady. As we had booked the Theatre. For 7.30. Fran booked a taxi to take us . Paying attention to detail these days is so rare. The king-size bed was very comfy. If you want another drink there is a comfy lounge with an honesty box. Breakfast is served from 8 - 10.. Bathem Boutique is a little gem. It's definitely a place we would revisit. In fact, think it knocks spots of The Royal Crescent. . Thank you for all your hospitality.

Our few days in bath started with Bathen House and all I can say is WOW. Staff were lovely and friendly room beautiful with the most amazing bath and shower( spoilt for choice) and I love a room where you can also sit in a comfortable chair not just the bed. We didn't get to use the 'trust room' ( what an amazing room, never heard of anything like it before) I'm not going to explain as Bathen House is 100% worth a visit. Breakfast is £25 but that includes cereals, pastries, fruit, cooked breakfasts ( very posh), toast and jams plus a huge coffee pot( about 6 cupful) if you can eat then it's worth it. Loved this place and would definately stay again. Five stars all the way

A lovely room, spacious with a large TV which had access to Netflix to use too. Lots of little nice to haves in the room, in addition to the usual tea coffee, there was a goodie back with haribos, skittles, chocolates and homemade biscuits! Mini fridge was well stocked with still and sparkling water and some cans of pop. Bathroom was super clean, with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. It had a bathtub and a shower, everything felt clean, with fresh towels and bathrobes to use each day. Free parking in Bath was definitely a perk, easy to find and felt secure.

I received a wonderful welcome at Bathen House. All the staff were unfailingly cheerful, helpful, charming and efficient. My room and bathroom were large, comfortable and well-appointed. The restaurant is simply excellent. I tried breakfast, dinner and room-service sandwiches. Everything was beautifully prepared and presented. The venison at dinner was a revelation - dense, tender and juicy. Even the smaller details, such as scrambled eggs, were excellent. I also appreciated the comfy lounge with honesty bar. The availability of parking in Bath is a real plus. I shall return!

- Really lovely staff. - Beautiful room, very spacious and clean. Looked just like the pictures. The bed was extremely comfortable. - Fridge in room with still and sparkling water and also canned drinks. - Welcome sweets and biscuits which were a really nice touch. - Free car park. - Great location. 8 -10 mins drive to the city centre or you can take a 25-30 minute walk which is mostly a straight path. I enjoyed the walk. There is also a bus service, but I didn't use it. - The full English breakfast was delicious. Also a nice selection of fruits and pastries available.
